Describing it as the beginning of a new chapter, Narendra Modi inaugurated the Noida International Airport in Uttar Pradesh. The airport is expected to strengthen connectivity and drive economic development across the region.
In his address, the Prime Minister said that the airport would empower the aspirations of millions of young Indians and contribute to nation-building. He highlighted that such projects are essential for boosting trade, tourism, and employment opportunities.
Civil Aviation Minister Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu reiterated that the airport will be developed as an aerotropolis, combining aviation services with business and urban infrastructure. He added that the facility will support global cargo movement and enhance India’s competitiveness in international trade.
The first phase of the airport includes a 4-km runway and state-of-the-art infrastructure built at a cost of ₹11,200 crore. Prominent leaders including Yogi Adityanath and Anandiben Patel were present during the inauguration.
